I am an experienced ex-HR Director specialising in the Hospitality Industry.
Having worked from the 'ground up', over the last 20 years I have occupied a number of operational and HR positions in the Hotel, Restaurant, Bar, Late Night and Food Retail sectors. My most recent roles have been board level in multi-site international Restaurant and Food retail businesses.
I have a strong commercial, practical and operational approach to HR, my strengths are developing and driving measurable HR strategies and implementing HR tools and systems to support operators and HOD's deliver business KPI’s.
I get results through a hands on approach - by taking the time to understand the current business challenges, main KPI's in the business, the complexity of the operation, and the people profile and skills required to deliver. I then suggest practical and fit for purpose solutions while developing solid supportive relationships with key stakeholders.

My passions are sailing, skiing, adventure travel, photography, good food and wine! If I get a chance, and not too many clients, you'll find me crewing 40ft+ race boats in sailing regattas throughout the UK and Caribbean.
